Your Story Isn't About You - How to use storytelling in your business

We all hear that storytelling is HUGE when it comes to growing your business. It IS!
But, your story isn't really about YOU. It's about building a connection, starting a conversation and when it's right, converting your RIGHT people into clients.
So, ultimately, YOUR STORY is about YOUR AUDIENCE. Stories need to be entertaining. However, it's very common for most people to think they aren't funny. If that's you, you just might be surprised. After all, humor is subjective.
Our mishaps stick with us, but they do NOT have to hold you back. They are just the stories we tell ourselves.
Your story is key to attract YOUR people and REPEL the wrong people.
As Elaine Williams said during the show, "be real, not perfect."

I, Jaycie, shared about our speeider adventures all within a few days of each other. Oy! Thankfully, I like some spiders, but the one I didn't recognize was at first - in my son's words - "terrifying". Of course, the littlest was not the little "guy" I thought I was talking to. Nope she said, "Run babies, run!" 😳

From Hump Day to Airstream Parking & Mansplaining to Ghost Cowboy

Dating after 40 can be a VERY interesting adventure for sure 😳 Lynne shared a story that had me cracking up. Jennie had tales of going from a Minnie Cooper 🚗  to a truck and pulling an Airstream...and the mansplaining that often tried to happen when she was parking it.
Some of my fellow women entrepreneurs have been asking me to share some ghost stories 👻  so I shared the first time I actually saw a full bodied apparition! I do live in the "old west" now...yippee-ki-ay!
